Every Bad Act Deserves Another

Once upon a time a Mouse, who always lived on the land, by anlucky chance, formed an intimate acquaintance with a Frog, who lived in the water. One day, the Frog was intent on mischief. He tied the foot of the Mouse tighly to his own. Then, the Frog led his friend the Mouse to the meadow where they usually searched 4 the food. After this, he gradually led him towards the pond in which he lived, until reaching the banks of the water. He sunddenly jumped in, dragging the mouse with him. The Frog enjoyed the water amazingly n swam croaking about, as if he had done a good deed. The unhappy Mousewas soon sputtered and drowned in the water. Soon afterwards, his poor dead floated on the surface. A Hawk observed the floating Mouse from the sky. He dove down n grabbed with his talons, carrying it back to his nest. The Frog, being still fastened to the leg of the Mouse was also carried off a prisoner, and was eaten by the Hawk.

(Naskah soal UCKPD 1/Bahasa Inggris SMP/2009)

Benar saja…

Murid A : Bu, Ibu ada turunan Arab ya?…

Murid B :.Bu, umur Ibu berapa?

Murid C :…27 ya Bu? (hahaha)

READ  Don't Give Up So Easy

Murid D :.. 33 ya Bu? (gubrak!)

Guru : pasang tampang kalem, cuek, sambil bagikan soal terus..

Murid D : (dengan “jailnya” memperhatikan muka gurunya terus eh trus bilang..) hm 32?

31? 30? (lho, countdown?)

Murid C…. : udah gw blang…27!

Hahaha…(makasih makasih…selalu tertawa mengingat ini. Susahnya jadi guru harus jaim padahal mau ketawa keras2..)

Guru (diriku) : Cuma senyum dingin..biar anak2 mulai serius untuk belajar. Berhasil, Alhamdulillah..

Anyway, ketika sampai pada soal ini..14 anak menyimak dengan baik, sambil menunjukkan ekspresi yang berbeda-beda. Tapi anak yang harus menjawab soal ini menjawab dengan salah..

What U can learn from the story above?

a. Do not play with a rope for it can cause dangerous

b. The strong person will always the winner

c. Good friends must protect another

d. Every bad act deservers another

Murid E : a. ..

Guru : No..think carefully. I think the correct answer is D…every bad act deserves another. Sebagian besar menganguk. Tapi ada juga yang berkerut dengan ekspresi; masa sih?? *ketahuan sering jailin temennya dan belum pernah dapat balasannya*

Well…..I think that’s right. This is a simple story with a good lesson.

Dan sebaliknya…..bukankah.. ..Hal jazaa’ul ihsan illa ihsan… Tidak ada balasan kebaikan kecuali kebaikan juga. (QS: 55:60)
